Conservators (2 positions) National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) The Document Conservation Division, Preservation Programs, of the National Archives and Records Administration is seeking to fill two full-time permanent conservator positions at the GS-13 level. The successful applicants will have professional knowledge of the preservation and conservation of a wide range of archival holdings, including paper, photographic materials, and bound records; as well as knowledge of preservation program development in such areas as preventive conservation, risk assessment and prioritization, reformatting including digitizing, and emergency planning and response. One position will focus primarily on coordinating digitization efforts, the other position will have primary responsibility for developing and conducting preservation training.
