Calcium oxalate on easel paintings

I am a conservation student currently writing my thesis on calcium
oxalate film encountered on easel paintings. The idea is to do a
literature review on the subject and try to interview as many people
as possible who have had contact with it. In my review I intend to
summarize the analysis methods performed for identification of
calcium oxalate, the methods so far used to remove it and to compare
these methods to one another on different levels. I would be
immensely grateful if experienced conservators and conservation
scientists who have had experience with this subject could reply to
me as soon as possible so that we can book an interview on the
