Opportunities have arisen for two new posts in AOC Archaeology
Group's conservation Department based in Edinburgh:

A Senior Conservation professional is required to lead and develop
our conservation team.  Educated to degree level or equivalent and
with a demonstrable track record working in the conservation sector
applicants will have a good understanding of objects conservation
and should ideally be PACR accredited.  Candidates should have
experience with budget control and staff management. Specialist
skills in working with leather, metal or in stone conservation would
be an advantage. Development of our Conservation Services will be
carried out in close collaboration with other unit heads in the
company. A full clean driving licence is essential. Part time
working will be considered.

Salary UKP33,000 - UKP36,000 per annum plus benefits, depending on
experience.

Working to the Senior Conservator applications are invited for a
full time objects conservator. Educated to degree level or
equivalent applicants should be experienced in the conservation of
objects and working as part of a team. Experience is essential.
Specialist skills or interests are desirable especially in the areas
of leather, metal or stone conservation. A full, clean driving
licence would be advantageous.

Salary UKP19,000 - UKP22,000 per annum plus benefits, depending on
experience
