Dolman frames

The Guildhall Art Gallery in London is preparing an exhibition of
works by Sir John Gilbert (1817-1897). The majority of his works in
our collection are still in their original composition frames, with
labels on the reverse identifying their manufacturer as R Dolman and
Son, 6 New Compton Street, Soho. I would be very interested to hear
of any other examples of frames manufactured by Dolmans, especially
on paintings by Gilbert.
