January 21, 2009

On January 21, 2009, the Lunder Conservation Center at the
Smithsonian American Art Museum and National Portrait Gallery will
host a lecture by Dr. Glenn Wharton titled, The Future of New Art
Technologies: Time-Based Media Conservation at the Museum of Modern
Art.  Dr. Wharton is the Media Conservator at the Museum of Modern
Art and a Research Scholar at New York University's Conservation
Center and Museum Studies programs. The lecture will take place on
Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at 6 p.m. This program is free and open
to the public and is located at the Smithsonian American Art Museum
and National Portrait Gallery at 8th and G Streets NW, Washington DC
in the McEvoy Auditorium, Lower Level.
