The Future of New Art Technologies: Time-Based Media Conservation at the Museum of Modern Art Dr. Glenn Wharton at Smithsonian American Art Museum and National Portrait Gallery January 21, 2009 On January 21, 2009, the Lunder Conservation Center at the Smithsonian American Art Museum and National Portrait Gallery will host a lecture by Dr. Glenn Wharton titled, The Future of New Art Technologies: Time-Based Media Conservation at the Museum of Modern Art. Dr. Wharton is the Media Conservator at the Museum of Modern Art and a Research Scholar at New York University's Conservation Center and Museum Studies programs. The lecture will take place on Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at 6 p.m. This program is free and open to the public and is located at the Smithsonian American Art Museum and National Portrait Gallery at 8th and G Streets NW, Washington DC in the McEvoy Auditorium, Lower Level.
