The Art Historian's identification of enamel paints in works by
Picasso and Picabia

Dr Marilyn McCully will provide a fascinating insight into the world
of the art historian at one of the BAPCR's popular meetings. This
evening lecture will consider the techniques art historians use to
identify enamel paints, focusing on the works of Picasso and
Picabia. Highlighting the importance of collaboration between the
disciplines Dr McCully will look at art historical documentation,
including archival evidence and early critical writings, as well as
anecdotes concerning the artists' use of Ripolin.

There will be the opportunity to ask questions after the lecture as
well as the chance to relax and catch up with colleagues.

Cost:
    Free to BAPCR Members
    UKP4 concessions (students, Icon Members)
    UKP10 for non-members
