The Pitt Rivers Museum <URL:http://www.prm.ox.ac.uk> is offering an
excellent opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced
individual to be part of the conservation and collection care team.

The successful candidate will have a recognized qualification in
conservation, preferably with experience of working in a museum or
similar institution.  They should have an understanding of a broad
range of materials and the cultural issues surrounding the treatment
and care of ethnographic, social history and archaeological
collections. Essential requirements are; an interest in preventive
conservation, proven ability to meet deadlines, able to work alone
or in a team, enthusiasm, computer literate, a flexible approach to
work and the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of
audiences; a full driving licence is desirable.
