I assume you are looking for thread for bookbinding/conservation
purposes. If so I'd recommend the American-based company Talas, who
distributes Irish linen thread. It's closer to home and their
selection is rather nice. Their products can be found at

A couple of years ago I visited Saterglantan, a Swedish centre for
traditional handicraft. They stock a good selection of unwaxed,
undyed Swedish linen thread which is ideal for bookbinding and/or

contact details. Their online catalogue is under construction
(Autumn 2007).
