The Centre for Cultural Materials Conservation (CCMC), at the
University of Melbourne, is pleased to announce the launch of a new
free-access searchable database atlas of "Oriental Papermaking
Fibres"

The atlas presents colour micrographs and identification data of a
range of plant fibres used in Japanese papermaking. The database is
the work of Travis Taylor, CCMC alumnus, and was completed as part
of his postgraduate internship at the CCMC Paper Conservation
Department.

Access to the database is free and available to all at
