Paper Conservator - Intern Placement

12 Month Fixed Term Contract, Part Time
VPS 2-1-1 - $37,121 pro rata

This Intern placement will see you developing your existing skills,
knowledge and expertise in the field of paper and photography
conservation through a one year program working with, and
contributing to, the Paper Conservation Department at the NGV.

During your program, you will undertake technical examinations,
write reports and devise treatment proposals whilst assisting in
preventative conservation programs.

You will also undertake research into the materials and methods used
by artists for the manufacture of works on paper as well as
techniques to improve preventative care and remedial treatments. To
