Technician or Assistant conservator
Northeast Document Conservation Center

The Northeast Document Conservation Center (NEDCC), located in
Andover, Massachusetts, 25 miles north of Boston, is seeking an
experienced technician or an assistant conservator to work in its
paper conservation laboratory. The position is offered for one year
and may be renewed. It offers an opportunity to spend a concentrated
amount of time at the bench in a spacious laboratory with highly
skilled and friendly colleagues.

The successful candidate will treat a variety of paper materials
including manuscripts, maps, printed materials, architectural plans,
and works of art on paper. Candidates that have a degree from a
graduate level conservation training program or equivalent
experience will be given preference. Persons who are not U.S.
citizens may apply but must be legally qualified to work in the U.S.
