Nanotechnology chemical waterproofing coating for heritage buildings

Recently, I was approached by a company that markets and Indian
product "Zycosil", a product based on organsosilicon chemistry
(molecular structure: alkylakoxysilane) and nanotechnology. The
product is essentially a chemical waterproofing coating product for
buildings.

I would like to know how such alkylakoxysilane compare with siliconates
are the long term effects of the usage of such products.
