3rd International Conference

Registration is now open for the 3rd International Conference on
Architectural Paint Research in the field of historic building
preservation to be held January 17-19, 2008.

Architectural Paint Research is a growing specialty in the realm of
building preservation services, one that is international in scope.
This conference brings together speakers from a wide variety of
backgrounds, professional positions, and cultures to share
experiences, challenges, and recent developments in the science,
history, and art of historic architectural paint and decoration.

The conference will follow a single-track over three days of
presentations, demonstrations and tours of highlight preservation
projects in New York City.  Over 25 speakers from across the US,
Europe, the Middle East and Asia will present their work in one of 5
featured topics:

    Cultural Significance
    Wallpapers
    Analytical Techniques
    Practical Applications
