The Washington Conservation Guild presents the first meeting of the 2007/2008 season. Please join us Thursday October 4, 2007 for a lecture by Debbie Hess Norris, Chairperson, Art Conservation Department University of Delaware: "Emergencies, Public Advocacy, and Fund Raising for Collections Care; Responding to the Heritage Health Index Eight Days a Week" The meeting will be held in the McEvoy Auditorium in the Smithsonian Institution, Donald W. Reynolds Center for American Art and Portraiture (Smithsonian American Art Museum/National Portrait Gallery) on 9th and G Streets, NW, Washington, DC. 5-5:45 pm Reception in the Multi-Purpose Room 5:45-6:45 pm Lecture in the McEvoy Auditorium Please use the 9th Street entrance to the museum The closest Metro station is Gallery Place (Red/Green/Yellow lines). The museum is right outside the station. Limited street parking is available.
