ICOM-CC Glass and Ceramics Working Group

The final program and registration information for the interim
meeting of the Glass and Ceramics working group of ICOM-CC is now
available at

The meeting, falling midway between the triennial conferences of
ICOM-CC, will allow specialists from around the world to share the
results of recent work. The language of the meeting is English.

The interim meeting will feature twenty-two oral and five poster
presentations by authors from sixteen countries in Europe, North and
South America.  Visits to glass and ceramics collections in
Ljubljana, Ptuj and Celje in the company of local experts have been
arranged.  Evening receptions will be hosted by the Gori'ki Muzej,
Nova Gorica, the Lord Major of Nova Gorica and ICOM Slovenia. An
optional day trip to Venice following the conference is being
offered.  The preprints will be distributed to meeting participants
and will afterwards be available for purchase through Archetype
Publications Ltd.

Registration is still open and some places are still available.
This is going to be a valuable opportunity to learn about recent
work, to meet new colleagues from around the world, and to
experience the unique cultural heritage of Slovenia.
