Guildhall Library is looking for an enthusiastic book and paper
conservator to join its team. The Conservation section currently
consists of four conservators and a conservation technician
reporting to the Senior Conservator. This is a fixed term pilot
conservation project, working primarily on printed books materials
held in the collections.

Candidates must hold a recognised professional qualification or
equivalent and have a significant post qualification experience.
Proven skills in the conservation of book and paper materials along
with a broad knowledge of conservation and preservation issues are
essential. We are looking for someone with the ability to work in a
team as well as independently and who has excellent time management
