Junior Conservator
Odyssey Marine Exploration

Job Purpose: The position would assist a senior conservator and
other conservators and project managers with documentation,
treatment, follow-up and monitoring of long and short term
conservation projects. The junior conservator would also write
conservation reports and publications and represent Odyssey at
archaeological/conservation conferences.

Requirements: The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience
in marine conservation or a related field and some hands-on
experience doing conservation treatments for various materials.
Materials testing and analysis background is all a plus. Must be
organized, efficient, level-headed and capable of working on many
projects at once. Must work well alone or with others, and have good
oral and written communication skills. Must also be able and willing
to lift heavy objects, and work with chemicals, power tools, etc. as
required.

Education: A bachelors degree in marine or objects conservation is
essential.
