Live music in museums

From: Allison Langley <alangley>

We are interested in learning what specific guidelines or written
policies other museums may have established in regards to live
music, either bands or DJs, within gallery spaces during special
events. Have you or your organization set specific limits on sound
levels for musicians? Do acceptable sound levels vary for different
types of museum spaces, depending on the types artwork present? Do
you define acceptable types, sizes, or use of equipment by
performers? Any examples greatly appreciated,
