Treatment Conservation Supervisor (Full time)
Conservation and Collection Care

This supervisory role will report to and work with the Treatment
Conservation Manager and be responsible for the day-to-day
management of textile conservation treatments, together with
explaining and training in the Conservation and Collection Care
section of Historic Royal Palaces.

The role will require hands-on work of complex advanced-level
conservation treatments and will manage and mentor a team of three
to four conservators as well as interns and volunteers. The job
requires familiarity with project management and budgeting, together
with the dissemination of information, both written and spoken, to
visitors, members, sponsors and trustees in both the public and
private spaces of the palaces.

The individual will need to co-ordinate with the supervisors of the
other treatment and preventive conservation teams across all
palaces. Although based at Hampton Court Palace there will be a
requirement to work for extended periods of time at other locations,
particularly Kensington Palace.
