The ICON Paintings' Group Invites you to a short presentation
followed by a discussion on "Packing and Shipping Fine Art" This is
an opportunity for you to discuss with the shippers themselves any
of your concerns--material, storage, budgetary, dealing with customs
etc

There will be a short presentation given by Tim Lock and Renee
Pfister of Gander and White

Tim Lock is Divisional Director of Gander and White. He has over 30
years experience in this industry. He headed the shipping department
of a major Auction House in London and has been with Gander and
White for seven years, initiating the Museum Division five years
ago.  Today he is the Director responsible for the overall operation
and development of that Division. Renee Pfister is Associate
Director: Museums and Galleries. She has 17 years of experience in
working in the museums sector and an MA in Museums and Gallery
Management. She was part of the curatorial team at the British
Museum involved in realizing major projects such as the Great Court
and as Registrar at Tate she was responsible for managing
acquisitions and exhibitions.  At Gander and White she is
responsible for advising and managing collection and exhibition
projects and ensuring appropriate museum standards are applied.
