War Memorials Trust <URL:http://www.warmemorials.org> works to
protect and conserve all war memorials within the UK. The charity
seeks a Conservation Officer with initiative, enthusiasm and
experience to manage the work of coordinating and developing the
Trust's conservation, advisory and grant-making activities.

You will have knowledge of the conservation of the historic
environment, relevant legislation and the technical issues involved
in the care and repair of war memorials, be able to provide advice
and guidance to custodians and members of the public on all aspects
of war memorials and their care and act as an advocate for war
memorials' protection and appreciation.

The full-time post is London based but requires some travel around
the UK. Starting Salary circa UKP25,000 p.a.
