Suppliers in Egypt

From: Howard B. Wellman <hwellman>

I would like to update my list (now 8 years out of date) of
conservation and general laboratory suppliers in Europe and the
Middle East who can provide basic materials and tools for
archaeological conservation projects in Egypt(Acryloid/Paraloid and
Butvar resins, silica gel, water purification (DeI) cylinders,
Cyclododecane, MarvelSeal and other films, Nilfisk vacs, bag
sealers, etc.)

I would like to hear from suppliers who either have distributors and
agents in Egypt, or who have successfully navigated the Egyptian
customs and import regulations to supply clients directly. I'd also
like to hear from other conservators who have worked in Egypt
recently about their experience or preference for suppliers
currently available.

Suppliers of electrically powered equipment must be able to provide
versions that can operate on Egyptian electrical supply (220v).
