The collections of the National Galleries of Scotland
<URL:http://www.nationalgalleries.org> have an outstanding
international reputation. With five buildings in the city of
Edinburgh and two partner galleries elsewhere in Scotland, the NGS
is a dynamic arts institution that annually pursues an ambitious
exhibition and loans programme. The Conservation Department plays a
fundamental role in realising these activities as well as ensuring
the permanent collection is conserved to the highest possible
standard.

The Conservation Department is looking for an experienced and
enthusiastic Paintings Conservator to join their team. This
temporary, full-time post offers an ideal opportunity to gain a
breadth of experience in a lively and stimulating environment.

The successful candidate will possess a post-graduate degree in the
Conservation of Easel Paintings with 4-5 years experience of working
in the profession (including years of study).
