Conservation Fellowship
Duke University

The Duke University Library has posted a conservation fellowship
(duration: eighteen to twenty-four months). This fellowship focuses
on the Jantz Collection, which includes materials on German history
and culture in Europe and America, and ranges chronologically from
the German Baroque period to the nineteenth century. Books in the
Jantz Collection are striking for their wide variety of binding
structures and styles. In addition to the Jantz Collection, the
fellow may also treat material from other areas of the Rare Book,
Manuscript, and Special Collections Library (RBMSCL). This position
reports to the Collections Conservator in the Preservation
Department in the Perkins Library System.

Although not stated in the job posting, we will ask for a portfolio
