The Author: Mireia Xarrie  is an art historian (Universitat Autonoma
de Barcelona, 1994) and belongs to a family with a long tradition in
art conservation. In addition to her experience in the Barcelona
based family restoration business, she participates on several
international conservation organizations. Currently she is writing
her Ph.D. about art conservation and museology documentation and
terminology.
