Conservation Assistant
Council for the Care of Churches, London, U.K.

Salary from UKP28,620 - UKP31,330 p.a.
Central London location.

You will be a key point of advice to cathedral, diocesan and parish
authorities on matters of conservation regarding places of worship,
their contents and churchyards. You will also support the specialist
Conservation Committees working in the field of Fine and Decorative
Art as well as administering applications for conservation grants.
Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in Art History, Archaeology
or similar, you should have a good working knowledge of church art,
architecture and history. A post-graduate qualification in
conservation or practical conservation experience is desirable.
