The following is posted on behalf of the Cambridge Arts Council,
Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA

Call for papers: The Cambridge Arts Council's conference on the
conservation and maintenance of contemporary public art will take
place October 19-21-2001 in Cambridge, Massachusetts.  Proposals for
papers, panels, workshops, and case studies from all related
disciplines are welcomed. The deadline for a one-page abstract is
January 15,   2001. Please e-mail the abstract to:

The conference will bring together professionals from around the
world for an inter-disciplinary exploration of the complex issues
involved in the conservation and maintenance of contemporary public
art.  Papers presented at the conference will be collected in a
handbook, which will also include appendixes with sample
assessments, case studies, and bibliography.
