Ethafoam

Our Biology Department is looking for an archivally sound packing
material for use with delicate bird specimens. They are currently
exploring Ethafoam, a polyethylene Dow Chemical product.  I would
like to hear from anyone who has experience with this product or can
speak to its appropriateness for storing birds.
