The Conservation of Archaeological Ceramics
in collaboration with the Department of Archaeology, University of
Southampton

Course Leader: Pat Jackson, Lecturer in ceramics conservation,
formerly of the British Museum and The Institute of Archaeology.

This comprehensive, primarily workshop-based course is for
conservators involved in the care, interpretation and treatment of
excavated ceramics, providing practical experience for those who
wish to learn new techniques or re-establish skills. Closing date
for applications 14 December 2000

January 28-30, 2001
Illustration for Conservation
(Ceramics and Metals)

Course Leader: Anne Jenner, Mediaeval ceramics specialist currently
working with the Tyne and Wear Museum Service and the University of
Durham.

The course is split into two, two-day workshops, which may be
combined.

February 4-7, 2001
The Care and Conservation of Historic Floors

Course Leader: Jane Fawcett MBE, Lecturer and historian, formerly
conservation tutor, Architectural Association.

This course, the first on this important subject, will consider the
history, maintenance and repair of ecclesiastical and secular floors
in Britain. Closing date for applications 27 December 2000
