If you're concerned about preserving family papers and photographs
or wondering about how to display or store family heirlooms such as
quilts or clothing, here's an opportunity to learn about Saving Your
Family Treasures.

The Preservation Fair is an opportunity to talk with the experts,
see demonstrations of conservation techniques, attend informal talks
and pick up information on things you can do to save your family
treasures.

Conservators and vendors of conservation supplies will discuss ways
of preserving books, historical and genealogical documents,
photographs, art on paper, paintings, textiles and clothing.
Visitors are welcome to bring a family treasure and discuss
conservation options with the experts. Not appraisals will be
provided during the event.

The event is open to the public and is free with admission to the
Carnegie museum. For details, see our
