Call for papers--Fur, Feathers and Skin

Seminar on Fur, Feathers and Skin

A seminar on fur, feathers and skin is planned to coincide with the
AGM. As well as addressing the degradation and conservation of
ethnographic artefacts composed of fur, feathers or skin, this
seminar will explore the structure, source, modification and use of
these materials in ethnographic artefacts. Consideration should also
be given to ethical issues surrounding the treatment of these
artefacts.

Deadline for abstracts: September 1, 2000
Deadline for completed papers: November 10, 2000
