Subject: Call for papers--The Paper Conservator
Call for papers The Paper Conservator The Institute of Paper Conservation annual journal 25th Anniversary Celebratory Issue Volume 25, due out in 2001, will be a special issue entirely devoted to articles which celebrate 25 years of The Paper Conservator. We hope to attract leading members of the profession to contribute papers which explore a wide range of issues in paper conservation, aiming to offer a snapshot of where we are, where we have been, and where we may yet go. Our vision is an issue which considers paper conservation from all sides, seeks to provide answers to many questions, and encourages us to think creatively and associatively across disciplines. Several potential authors have already been individually invited to submit articles, but if you would like to contribute something please contact the Editor as soon as possible. Articles should be 2000-4000 words. The deadline for final copy is 4 December 2000, and authors will be asked to provide a 200-word abstract of their proposed paper by 1 September 2000. Although essays for this anniversary issue are not to be peer reviewed, inclusion of voluntary contributions will be at the Editor's discretion.
