Permanence of Indigo digital prints

From: Richard Minsky <minsky>

I have been asked to participate in a fine art publishing project
that will be printed on an Indigo digital printing press, and have
been unable to find any data on permanence. The image quality is
astounding, which is why the publisher bought the press. When I
examined a printed sheet there were no "dots" visible, even under
low magnification. The manufacturer's web site
<URL:http://www.indigonet.com/> identifies the "electroink" as a
semi-liquid pigment ink. A search of the Cons DistList archive and
the Net turned up some general info on NIP technology, including
calls for entries to the Canadian and British conferences in
October. Is any current research available on the Indigo
specifically, or is anyone preparing a conference paper that
includes it?
