The contracts will last 12-18 months, subject to funding.

This is an exciting opportunity for two talented individuals to
examine, document and treat works of art on paper in the Oppe
Collection at Tate Britain.  The posts are funded by the Heritage
Lottery Fund.

As Senior Conservator for this project you will take charge of the
conservation of the 3,000 works on paper and supervise the
Conservator.  You will have a recognised qualification in the
conservation of work of art on paper and a minimum of five years'
full-time practical conservation experience.

The Conservator will have a recognised qualification in the
conservation of paper and experience of working a museum.  Both
positions demand a flexible approach to work and the ability to work
to deadlines.  Experience of museum conservation, knowledge of art
history and computer literacy would be advantageous.
