Preservation Management Institute Rutgers University is now accepting applications to its acclaimed Preservation Management Institute. This program is designed for working professionals who want more in-depth education in preservation and some guidance in conducting preservation activities in your own institution. The Institute includes a week of classes in November 2000, a second week in April 2001, and a final week in August 2001. Between sessions you will complete assignments and submit them to the instructor. The three weeks of classes include field trips and numerous expert guest lecturers. On a scale of 1 (low) to 5 (high), the participants from eight states who attended the last session of this program rated it a 4.9.
