Announcement and Call for Posters Preservation and Conservation Issues Related to Digital Printing Institute of Physics, London October 26-27, 2000 Fast evolving technology has led to digitally printed material entering archives, libraries and fine art galleries in increasing amounts. Consequently, there is growing interest among archivists, librarians, curators and conservators in the long-term stability and preservation of this type of material. This is a two day conference, organised jointly by the Institute of Physics and The London Institute (Camberwell College of Arts and the London College of Printing) with the following aims: * to inform those responsible for the preservation of digitally printed material about the process and developments of this invasive technology; * to explore the impact of digital print on preservation and conservation issues; * to forge links between industry, research and the preservation world. The meeting will be held at the Institute of Physics in central London.
