Lectureship in conservation Institute of Archaeology University College London Applications are invited from experienced archaeological or ethnographic conservators, preferably with a degree in conservation. The successful candidate will teach conservation practice in the new 2 year MSc in Conservation for Archaeology and Museums, working in newly designed conservation laboratories with access to research facilities in the Institute of Archaeology and University College London. The post forms part of a collaborative arrangement with the National Trust, and the appointee will also undertake practical work on objects drawn from National Trust collections. The appointee will be expected to contribute to teaching within the MA in Principles of Conservation, the MA in Museum Studies and other courses at undergraduate and Master's level. Appointment will be for five years in the first instance. Salary will be within the Lecturer range (GBP 19,372 to GBP 32,199 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance).
