The 3rd annual Southeast Regional Conservation Association Meeting (SERCA) will be held in Columbia, South Carolina at the South Carolina State Museum on Saturday, April 29th. Following greetings from Overton Ganong, Director of the South Carolina State Museum, the morning sessions will focus on SERCA's role in disaster preparedness and response in the southeast. After our lunch and business meeting, presentations will include: Rome Wasn't Built In A Day--But Moved in a Week Ted Monnich, South Carolina State Museum Starting Up A Lab At the South Carolina State Archives Carol Crawford, South Carolina State Archives Resurrecting a Ancient Egyptian Collection Therese O'Gorman, Alexandra Klingelhofer, Kate Singley Michael C. Carlos Museum, Emory University Restoration of 'Aurora, Goddess of the Dawn' by Bouguereau Mark Lewis, High Museum of Art Upholstery Conservation Anne Battram, Biltmore House Registration is $30 in advance for members, $40 for non members or at the door.
