Preservation Technologies is hosting a Bookkeeper Users Group and Open House May 11-12, 2000, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania The users group meeting has been developed and is being facilitated by David Walls, preservation librarian, Yale University Library and Sue Kellerman, head of preservation, Pennsylvania State University Libraries. The topics for discussion will include preservation selection criteria and administrative aspects of running a deacidification program. In conjunction with the meeting, Preservation Technologies is hosting an open house for interested librarians and archivists to see, firsthand, the Bookkeeper facility and process. Users Group Thursday, May 11 Noon Lunch 1-4 pm Users group discussion 4:30 pm Transportation departs for cocktail reception 5:30-7:30 pm Cocktail reception hosted by Dr. Rush Miller, director, University of Pittsburgh Library System 7:45pm Transportation departs For those not attending the users group, there will touring/open house opportunities beginning at 1:00 PM. All individuals are invited to attend the cocktail reception.
