Gloves

Handling artifacts undergoing chemical treatment can be a real
problem particularly when it comes to protective hand wear. Personal
protection has to be the principal priority but the security of the
item undergoing treatment can be a real problem if one is unable to
get a secure and balanced hold. Many protective gloves which offer
great personal protection are just too thick to allow any degree of
good feeling.

Recent developments have led to a number of important changes for
the conservator, one can now get powder-free gloves and a new style
skin tight (surgical-like) but ultra-strong Nitrile glove has been
launched. We have samples of these new gloves and will be pleased to
forward freely to anyone interested.
