The scope of responsibilities will include both activities that Harvard will undertake and responsibilities Harvard will coordinate with vendors and other institutions. We are looking for someone with the knowledge, vision, and skill to represent Harvard in national and international forums related to digital preservation, and to participate actively in relevant standards processes. The ideal candidate will have experience working in research collections (libraries, archives, museums, data centers), with a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience with digital resources. An understanding of issues related to digital formats, media, and migration is required, along with an aptitude for quickly mastering technical topics (programming experience is not required).
