Core drills

George Hagerty asked for advice on obtaining very small core drills
for ceramics. A more serious problem than the disintegration of the
core into particles may well be the heating due to friction of the
ceramic material, corrupting the eventual TL reading. I would
suggest checking with the lab undertaking the TL dating before
drilling real artefacts and even comparing results by drilling
fragments or break areas of pots with very similar composition.
