Historic Scotland
2000 Internship Programme

Historic Scotland, through the Scottish Conservation Bureau, aims to
increase the fund of conservation skills in Scotland. Recent
graduates of recognised courses will be invited to apply for six
twelve-month internships later this year. Interviews will be held
in June and successful candidates will start in October.

Full details of these internships will be published in the May
editions of the 'SSCR Journal' and UKIC's 'Grapevine'.

    *   Charles Rennie Mackintosh interiors (Glasgow Museums)
    *   Ethnographic and archaeological artefacts (Marischal Museum,
        University of Aberdeen)
    *   Furniture (National Museums of Scotland)
    *   Paper (Library Conservation Unit, University of Dundee)
    *   Structural paintings, walls/ceilings (Historic Scotland with
        The National Trust for Scotland)
    *   Textiles (National Museums of Scotland)

Applications will not be accepted until May. Please direct
