Removing parchment from glass

I have received a call for help from a museum in Ruidoso, NM, which
has two documents believed to be parchment, that were framed with
glass and got wet sometime between 1974 and 1997, and are adhered to
the glass. The original frames also suffered damage.  Is there a
treatment for these problems?  Is there someone in the area who
could look at them and do a proposal?
