Subject: Publications sought
**** Moderator's comments: Please respond directly to the author. I am in the last year of studies in Restoration of Art Made on Paper, in Belgium. As a final thesis of my studies I have chosen the Restoration of a Japanese screen. I am having problems finding some publications related to the restoration of Japanese screens. I found some interesting references in the Conservation Information Network, but I could not contact the institutes that hold these publications (the International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property, in Rome, and the Smithsonian Centre for Materials Research and Education). Is there anybody who could tell me where and how I could get them? Also, I am looking forward to contact persons who have already some experience on restoring oriental screens to get advice and discuss different treatment possibilities. The publications I am looking for are: Merino Banos, Manuel;Barbachano, Pedro;Beny, Ana;Guerrero, Isabel.
