Symposium on moving collections

The Bay Area Art Conservation Guild presents a one day symposium,
"Collections in Motion: Moving Museum and Archive Collections."  The
event will take place at the Stanford University Museum Canton Art
Center on November 13th 1999.  The program will begin at 10 am with
an introductory session, followed by a reception at noon.  The main
session will follow at 1 pm with speakers from Bay Area Museums
which have moved their collections into new buildings or
retrofitting ones. Some of the speakers include the following
individuals:

Registration forms are included in the recently mailed packet for
the Western Association of  Art Conservators annual meeting in San
Francisco also in November.  To register without the form, send your
