Those of you familiar with the Humbug range of data loggers may be
interested in the latest addition to the range.

Shockbug is an event logger which records the time at which
accelerations greater than 5g in not just one but three orthogonal
axes (heave, sway and surge) and tilts greater than 30 deg. about
two axes (pitch and roll) occur.

The shockbug has been designed specifically for those collections
who transport items and need to ensure that parameters for safe
passage are being adhered to. The shockbug will record 1400+ events
on its 8kB memory.

Literature on the new Shockbugger and the other data loggers in the
Humbug range is available now from Conservation Resources here in
England (+44 1865 747755) and in America at the Springfield,
Virginia office (800-634-6932).
