Applications are invited for the post of Book Conservator at this
Regional Centre serving Scotland and beyond. The successful
candidate will join a team of 7 paper conservators, working within
their specialisms on a wide variety of material of national and
international importance.

Applicants should hold a qualification in book conservation, and
must be able to demonstrate skill and maturity of professional
judgement. Self-motivation and a sense of humour are also essential
qualities in this close-knit team working on stimulating projects in

Contract initially for one year, with the possibility of extension.
Starting salary Grade 1 on the Academic Related scale (currently
UKP15,753 - UKP17,570, with pay increase pending). Early starting
date preferred.
