Adhesive for wood and glass

I'm looking for an adhesive to temporarily glue wood embroidery
hoops, ranging between 4" and 12", to plate glass windows.  This is
for a temporary exhibit in Germany.  When the exhibit is over, the
hoops have to be removed from the windows leaving no trace.  The
hoops will carry very thin silk, so there won't be much weight.
