Subject: Acquiring web sites
In reply to the query from Jill Sterrett and Nicholas Burnett about acquiring and archiving web sites: There is a resource page on the PADI (Preserving Access to Digital Information) web site (http://www.nla.gov.au/padi/) that deals specifically with Preserving Access to Networked Digital Material <URL:http://www.nla.gov.au/padi/internet.html> which lists a number of resources and projects you might be interested in. The National Library of Australia project is called PANDORA--(Preserving and Accessing Networked Documentary Resources in Australia) can be found at <URL:http://www.nla.gov.au/pandora/> which also links to useful background documents. I have been working with both projects in case you have any further questions.
